There were some stanzas where the spacing was not consistent. I'm not sure if this was a formatting issue or if they authors intended it to be like this. My favourite poem was "Rainbow Eyes" and this poem wasn't necessarily a pet poem. It felt to me like a parent and child or husband and wife. Very touching.

Most of the poems in this book touched me and most book club members could relate to at least poem. I think this book is for a good cause and I will definitely recommend it to pet lovers, poetry readers or anyone looking for a short, meaningful reader.

Would I recommend this read? Oh yes, definitely.
