The Way Life Is by Rick Johnson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
As a mother and wife, I truly appreciate the sentiment of this book but that is where it ends. The formatting has multiple issues, the cover does not state the title and while I can understand the reason for using the picture, it is at the end of the day, a book cover. The book has also not been edited - sentences are not complete and punctuation is all over the place. There are no full stops and some sentences barely make sense.
If this book was truly about celebrating life, I think more work should have been put into it. Right now, it looks like a first draft.
Would I recommend this read? Not at all. A for effort, epic fail for implementation
Overall assessment:
Content: 4/5
Editing: 2/5
Formatting: 2/5
Pacing: 2.5/5
Offensive content?: PG onwards for theme and content.
