How important do you think villains are in a story? Absolutely essential. There must be a struggle and challenge of some kind, and someone trying to overcome it. Good vs. evil. David vs. Goliath, Protagonist vs. Antagonist. Without this, one would have to be a wonderful writer, indeed, to pull it off. Without this, it isn’t really a story, is it? Call it something else, but a story? Not.
Do you have any upcoming appearances that you would like to share with us? Yes, I will be at the Red Mountain Library in Mesa, Arizona, at the Local Authors Forum, Saturday, March 30th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Tell us a bit about your family. My husband, Dave, and I live in the Great Lakes State and commute between two lake front homes. Dave is a retired financial planner who takes care of me and supports me 100% in my writing career. Our two girls are married with their own families. We have six adorable grandchildren.
What is your favorite quality about yourself? An over-abundance of creativity.
What is your least favorite quality about yourself? Loosing weight is terribly difficult.
What are you most proud of accomplishing so far in your life? Writing nine books with more on the way.
What is your favorite color? My favorite colors change from time to time.
