#Orangeberry Book Review - Silver: Acheron by Keira Michelle Telford

Silver: Acheron (a River of Pain)Silver: Acheron by Keira Michelle Telford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It took me awhile to get into this series because of the violence. Yes, there are worse things on tv but I needed to digest it and ask myself - will this story work without the violence? Probably not. The world that has been created for these characters stems from an era where all good seems to be lost.

What little there is appears to be packaged in bruised humans. And when I say bruised, I mean physically and emotionally. This author has taken the basic human need of interaction and built it into a fascinating world by itself.

The author's writing style is extremely smooth. For a story in a world that does not exist, there are no timeline errors and no character mishaps. I definitely look forward to reading more of her work.

Would I recommend this read? Oh yes, definitely. This series is definitely worth to be made into a tv series if not movie.

Overall assessment:
Content: 5/5
Editing: 5/5
Formatting: 5/5
Pacing: 5/5
Offensive content?: Violence, strong language so R for theme and content.

Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author through Orangeberry Book Tours. I did not receive any payment in exchange for this review nor was I obliged to write a positive one.
