Kiss Me Quick Before I Shoot by Guy Magar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is a much over due review but no words I write will ever do this book justice. I hosted this author during a book tour in October. As the tour ended, his wife for whom this memoir was written for had passed away. Words failed me in so many ways.
Although filed under memoirs, this book is more of a love story. And it's the best love story I've seen because it's the real thing. You meet Hollywood director Guy Magar who openly shares the memories he has had with his wife. There are a few big names like Drew Barrymore and James Cameron in there which will tickle you.
Mostly, this book will touch you in a very non-Hollywood way. There are no bright lights, no fancy stage. These are but the mere reflections of one man and the woman he loves. And when a man loves a woman .... now we all know how that goes, don't we?
Would I recommend this read? Oh yes, definitely. This a book that will change you in one way or another.
