Dead Perfect by P.G Shriver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was an entertaining read suited for young adults. Mel's life is turned upside down when her alcoholic mother dies in an accident. She starts getting to know her grandparents and then of course, Davis walks in and the orchestra appears to play in the background. It's love at first sight and Davis' character is painted out to be such a hottie that you can't help but want to know how it ends.
But what is true love without any challenge? Davis has a secret that gives the story a new twist. Mel is so broken that to experience love distracts her from the tell-tale signs that all is not as it seems. What will happen when she finds out? Think Bruce Willis. Think Sixth Sense. It's a good read.
Would I recommend this read? Sure, the romance bits can keep you turning the pages.
