Less than quarter of the book, you already know what's coming. It's every romantic comedy that's been seen and every love song that's been played. There isn't much of a twist or turn so if you are expecting those, then this book is definitely not for you.
If you are looking for a light-hearted, chirpy read, then yes, pick this up, devour it and you'll go about your way with a smile on your face. There isn't much of a connection with this book or the characters or maybe I just felt that way because I was expecting more. If you've seen Sarah Michelle Gellar in Simply Irresistible, then you'll have a physical image of Abby because in so many ways, they seem to be like the same person.
Would I recommend this read? Sure, if you're looking for a quick fun read.
