Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book. It’s original and it will make you laugh.
What inspired you to want to become a writer? I’ve always enjoyed making up stories and am driven to have a career that I love.
If you could jump in to a book, and live in that world, which would it be? Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors? Don’t let writer’s block be an excuse not to write. Put some words on paper, and if it sucks, it’ll still likely be something you can draw from later.
If you could be one of the Greek Gods, which would it be and why? Dionysus – The god of wine, parties, chaos, drunkenness and ecstasy. He’s the ultimate party animal!
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Somewhere with year round warm weather and professional sports teams. Miami maybe?
Can you see yourself in any of your characters? Absolutely. I definitely share some characteristics with the main character, while the other characters borrow some traits from my real life friends.
If you were a super hero what would your kryptonite be? Hawaiian women and Arby’s.
You have won one million dollars what is the first thing that you would buy? “I’d invest it immediately,” said the incredibly uncharismatic person. I’d actually book a vacation to a beach somewhere, and then head to the liquor store.
What TV show/movie/book do you watch/read that you’d be embarrassed to admit? The new Beverly Hills 90210. It’s sure not easy being a good-looking rich kid in California. You can definitely learn a lot of very important life lessons from watching that show.
Favorite places to travel? Vegas, all-inclusive beach vacations, back home to Saint John.
