Rosemary Opens Her Heart by Naomi King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved this book.
The different themes are layered and woven into each page with a gentleness that has you turning the pages. Some might say that the conflicts raised in the book are one too many and yes, there were a few moments of this, but the conflicts are explained at the end and it then makes sense why they existed in Rosemary's story in the first place.
What I really liked about Rosemary's story was that constant push and pull between the past and present. If she moves forward, will be she be betraying the happiness she had with her husband. If she didn't, would she be happy?
Would I recommend this read? Oh yes, definitely.
