Halloween is a major part of my life. It has been since I was really small. Every year I start celebrating as soon as October starts. These are my top 10 favorite Halloween things of all time. If I didn’t have these things in my life, it just wouldn’t be Halloween.
#10 Pumpkins
Halloween just wouldn’t be the same with out theses little orange balls of joy. Whether they are carved or not, pumpkins never fail to bring a smile to my face.
#9 Apple Cider
A chill creeps up through the lands when the harvest draws near. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a warm mug of mulled apple cider to take the chill off.
#8 Candy Corn
I love this candy! Seriously, I would have to go into an intervention program if they sold it all year long.
#7 Hocus Pocus
I love this Disney Halloween movie. It first came out while I was in high school. Every year since then my family gets together to watch it. In fact, I’m thinking about pulling it out right now. Dead man’s chungs, anyone?
#6 Horror Movie Marathons
I love horror movies. One of my favorite things to do is watch as many as I can. TV channels never fail to deliver with that. During the last few days of October, everywhere you look, channels are running nothing but them. Just make sure you have plenty of popcorn ready.
#5 Halloween Tee shirts
I own tons of Halloween shirts. I buy them whenever I find them. I love the fact that I can wear them at Halloween time and no one thinks I’m crazy for it.
#4 Halloween Decoration.
My house is full of them. All year long! I love the fact that I can display them for the world. We always have one of the best-decorated yards in town.
#3 Scary Stories
I love that everyone has a spooky story this time of year. And that they want to share it with you.
#2 Costumes
How many other times a year do you get to dress up in outrageous costumes and not be looked at funny? You get to express your creativity anyway you choose. So I say let your freak flag fly!
#1 Candy! Candy! Candy!
Did I mention candy? I have a major sweet tooth and there’s nothing better than having candy everywhere you look.
Happy Halloween everyone!
