Location 99 – since I don't read pBooks any more I keep track of my reading through percentages and locations on my Kindle. I love my Kindle Fire. I also love ghost hunting. You know those shows: Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, Ghost Adventurers, Paranormal State, Ghost Lab? I love them all.

When I moved back to El Paso, TX I was thrilled that I wouldn't have to live vicariously through those shows but could do some 'hunting' of my own. The founders of the El Paso Ghost Tours is a great group of people. Why am I going on about them and what does this have to do with Location 99? Because they were my inspiration for the Paranormal Posse books. I had the opportunity to spend the night in a haunted hotel, the Amador Lockdown in Las Cruces, NM. Sound familiar? It should since that's the basis of my novella named after the hotel.

So what is my main character, Hector, doing at Location 99? Hanging out in a cemetery of course. Leading a tour with the Paranormal Posse. What ghostly things do you see in a cemetery? Shadow people, orbs, disembodied voices. There goes one now! Off on the chase to prove there is an afterlife or what kind of afterlife you can expect.

Isn't that the big unknown question hanging over all of us. What, if anything, happens after you die? Religion loves to give trusted and secure answers, but really, who's died and come back except Lazarus from the Christian bible. And he didn't seem all that thrilled. Would it be boring? Would it be exciting? What if you longed to return to life and were willing to do anything to get back? Even steal a soul. Heck, why stop at one. Why not a bunch of souls?

At Location 99 Hector glimpses a shadow in the cemetery that will change his life forever. You'll have to read on to find out how.
